The Knitting Nannas Against Gas and Greed rallied outside NSW state parliament on Friday March 8 to protest against the NSW government’s water management policy.

Over 100 people were on hand to support the ‘United to Save Our Water’ campaign. The Nannas were established in 2012 in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, and have since gained supporters across the world. Their slogan is: “You don’t have to be a Nanna; you don’t have to knit to save the land, air and water for the kiddies!”
